Monaco Post will release a special commemorative stamp on 1st December 2014 marking 127th Session of the International Olympic Committee that will take place Monaco. Its a nice stamp for Olympic and Sports theme !
On 8th and 9th December 2014, for the third time in its history, the Principality of Monaco will host the International Olympic Committee. Under the impulse of new President Thomas Bach, the agenda of the 127th Session will focus on key decisions that will shape the future of the Olympic Movement.

Special Cover and Customised ‘My Stamp’ released to commemorate 150 years of the Eden Gardens, Kolkata on 11th November 2014
Eden Gardens cricket ground in Kolkata is the home of the Bengal cricket team and the Indian Premier League's Kolkata Knight Riders, as well as being a venue for Test, One Day International and Twenty20 International matches. The largest cricket stadium in India by seating capacity, it is widely acknowledged to be one of the most iconic cricket stadiums in the world. Eden Gardens has been called "cricket's answer to the Colosseum".
To commemorate the 150th year of inception of the historic Eden Gardens of Kolkata a Special Cover and Customised ‘My Stamp’ were released at the function organized by the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) at the Eden Gardens. The Stamp has an image of Eden Gardens. Customised Stamp was also released bearing portrait of CAB President Shri Jagmohan Dalmiya, former head of the world cricket governing body ICC and its India affiliate BCCI to mark his contribution.
The function was graced by the legendary spin trio - Bishan Singh Bedi, EAS Prasanna and Bhagwat Chandrasekhar - as also former Indian skippers Ajit Wadekar, Dilip Vengsarkar, Sourav Ganguly, West Indies' fast bowling great Michael Holding etc.
Special Cover on Birth Centenary of KSN Adiga – 5th November 2014
Karnataka Bank celebrated the birth centenary of KSN Adiga, former chairman of the bank, on 5th November 2014 at its Corporate Office near Mahaveera Circle, Mangaluru (Mangalore). As part of the celebration, the bank released a special cover and a customized my stamp on 5th November 2014. Shri M. S. Ramanujan, Chief Postmaster General, Karnataka Postal Circle, handed over the Special cover and My Stamp to the former Prime Minister Shri H.D. Deve Gowda. D. Surendra Kumar, former Director of the Bank, Ananthakrishna, Chairman of the bank, and other family members of KSN Adiga were present during the programme. The bank also opened its 625th branch at Kakkunje village (birthplace of KSN Adiga) in Udupi district of Karnataka on 5th November to commemorate his birth centenary.

A Special Cover was released on Kalpana Chawla Planetarium, Kurukshetra on 17th October 2014 at Ambala'.The Kalpana Chawla Memorial Planetarium is located near Jyotisar on Pehowa Road, Kurukshetra is named after Dr. Kalpana Chawla, the Indian born American citizen who was an astronaut with US' National Aeronautics and Space Administation (NASA) and space shuttle mission specialist. She was born and brought up in Karnal town of Haryana.
